Alaina's 1st Mani/Pedi

Yesterday Alaina had her first mani and pedi done for my brother's wedding. She's not in the wedding, but I planned on getting mine done and wanted her to feel special too. My SIL never had a pedi before, so she joined in on the fun.

We had a great time! Anne and I kept trying to figure out the massage modes on the chairs and instead you would see me either the whole way up or back. Eventually, I got it down, but it was funny.

Alaina was in the zone. We tried to get her to smile, but she kept a close eye on that lady doing her feet lol! They treat the kids so nice there. She got spoiled with a red slushy, dvd player, and a cute bunny chair to sit in. I did see a big smile when she saw the flowers painted on her purple nails. She's so cute!

Anne and I were also offered complimentary drinks. Anne got a margarita lol! Of course I passed on the alcohol. I so needed a relaxing evening out. I'm so looking forward to the day that mommy can do these things with all three of her girls! Oh we are going to have some good times, so we are ;)Will def have to do it again soon. Before long I won't be able to reach my toes with this growing belly lol!
Anne enjoying her first pedi. She picked a hot pink color.

Tutu Tuesday

Tuesdays are so crazy for me! It's always packed full of errands. At least the day goes fast. Shortly after Alaina's preschool, Matt and the girls came with me to my sonogram. We had so much fun seeing Caylin's active little body up on the screen. The tech went through all the body parts and Bella said, "She's naked Dr! Put on a dress for her PLEASE!" It was hilarious!

The the tech even allowed the girls to push the print button and gave them each a pic of their baby SIS. We can rest easy now, because she got a good view this time and she is all girl lol. I would have been glad either way, but as you know, I like to shop, and that's what I've been doing ever since we got a
"pretty sure it's a girl" answer.

Plus, my wonderful hubby bought me a Coach diaper bag a couple months ago as a "pushing" gift and it's probably too late to return. Then again I like it more than the blue one, so I probably would have picked that one either way. The nice thing about this one is that it says that it can also be used as a laptop, overnight bag or whatever you like and for that price you want it to last! I love it soooo much! Thank you honey!

We still have to get Caylin's nursery done, but she will be in our room the first few months anyways, and I want to paint it, get new carpet, new crib and redo Alaina's closet before Bella moves in with Alaina. I'm sure a lot of that will get done when the "nesting phase" kicks in lol!

After my sonogram it was off to ballet. Alaina got her dalmatian costume. It looks more like a cat to me, but either way she looks adorable in it! The parents even got a sneak peek of what's to come in June at her recital. The girls were being shy when showing us, but I'm sure that will go away by June. It's nice to see all of those Tuesdays classes come together. I'm so excited to see her up on that stage!

Matt and the girls have colds and I'm praying it skips me til at least after my brother's wedding on Saturday. At least the weather will be warm, actually it's going to be more than warm. High of 84 in May! Sick or not these girls don't let anything bring them down lol!

She's so full of personality. I love it!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! My Mother's Day was more like a weekend, because yesterday I took the girls to North Park to walk for National Fibromyalgia Awareness day, play at the park and to have a snack by the lake while daddy worked. The weather was wonderful and we even got to see two mother ducks with their ducklings! How perfect is that on Mother's Day weekend. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day with my girls.

Can't forget my baby on the way! 6 months 4/25/12

We are so excited to meet you Caylin Grace! The girls often talk to you and place their hands on my belly to feel you kick. Bella asks everyday if we can go to the doctors now to get you out lol!

Last Thursday Alaina made a beautiful purse for me that had sweet Mother's Day poem inside. I love it!

On Saturday Matt and the girls made me a feast for breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, oj AND coffee in this beautiful new mug Alaina picked out for me. If that wasn't sweet enough, they also gave me very thoughtful cards! How could anyone not tear up after hearing those two adorable voices. I will cherish that card forever!

We were supposed to go out to Bahama Breeze for dinner, but the girls both took a nap and I didn't want to wake them, so Matt made some buffalo chicken dip and we watched a movie. I read the girls my favorite book, "The Giving Tree" before bed, which had me in tears once again, so Matt finished it for them lol! Darn pregnancy hormones anyways haha. It was such a great Mother's Day and I can't wait to spend it with all three of my girls next year.
Blessed! That's all that comes to mind <3

Ready to go with daddy to surprise grandma at work with flowers, cards and of course Reeses cups for Mother's Day. Bella insisted on wearing a hat like sissy lol! They melt my heart!

Growing up most of my life without a mother hasn't been the easiest thing, but it has taught me so much. I appreciate every single morning I get to wake up to those adorable faces. The moments when I hear "I Love You" mean SO much more now.... Even when they are misbehaving are cherished moments, and I remind myself that all of this could be taken away in a blink of an eye. Being a mother shouldn't be taken lightly. It's the greatest honor and gift God could give us. Mother's Day may be a day to spoil moms and express your love for all that they've done, but it should also be a day to thank God for being so blessed! There's seriously no greater honor than being called "ma ma". I love you so much Alaina, Bella and baby Daily. Happy Mother's Day to all of those wonderful mothers out there! ♥

Reilly's Farm Field Trip

On May 3rd I went with Alaina's preschool class to Reilly's farm. There we took a hayride to the strawberry patch, where the kids got to learn all about strawberries and how they are grown.

Then the tractor took us for a puppet show in their barn, where the children got to hear a story about a lonely strawberry.  It was cute.

When the show was done, we walked down to see, pet and feed the baby animals. Alaina knows how much I love piglets, so she made sure I got to pet the pig.

Lastly, the kids got to enjoy a snack. I loved how the teacher included the butterfly clips they made the week before on top of their snack bags. It made the kids feel special to show off their artwork.

Alaina and I had a wonderful time and she even got to take home a couple strawberry plants, which she planted with daddy.

I can't believe her last day is the 22nd. This year went by so fast! Next preschool year she will be going three days a week then Kindergarten! My baby girl is growing up. :( She makes me so proud though and I am blessed to call her my daughter. I love you Alaina!
