Christmas Star and Train

An angel or star is placed at the top of the tree, representing the host of angels or the Star of Bethlehem from the Nativity.

There's something so meaningful about getting to put up that star, and watching it complete the tree as it lights up. Maybe it's that cute Eat N Park commercial or seeing others making a big deal of putting it up in Christmas movies. Whatever it may be, that smile Ethan, Alaina and this year Bella have once it's up is priceless!

The girls had so much fun putting up the rest of the ornaments, star, town and train. I can now say that the tree is done! It looks beautiful. I think I may just sleep on the couch tonight. :)
