Matt has been saying how he needed a push mower for those spots the tractor and weed eater can't get, like those spots that cause me to knock the deck wheel off the tractor lol!
There is this big root I have to go over to cut the grass along the road and for some reason when I go over it, pop goes the deck wheel. At least Matt finds it amusing lol!
To Lowes we went! I chose a few the girls could pick from. Alaina said she liked the green and black one, because, "Daddy loves black." The guy at the store talked highly about it and said it was ready to go. I liked the idea that Matt wouldn't have to build it, so I agreed on that one. I got the extra warranty just in case we come into anymore mishaps. ;)
The worker folded it up so nicely and it fit like a glove in the back of my van. Thank God! I didn't want to have to use Matt's truck or it wouldn't be a surprise. Everything worked out nicely and the girls got to help mommy pick their daddy's gift.
We were already outside playing when Matt came home and right before we went in to have burgers for dinner I asked Matt if he could grab the bags out of the back of the van. When he opened the door, the girls ran over and said Surprise! The look on his face was priceless.
Turns out the mower the girls picked is one of the ones he was looking to buy as well! Right away he put the oil in and checked it all out. It's hard surprising this man, but we did! He had no idea and was a bit upset that we spent that much on him, but it's not like it won't get used lol!
After our burger dinner, we sang Happy Birthday, and had the Spongebob burger cake the girls picked out for their daddy. Everything seemed to go as planned and Matt couldn't stop talking about trying out his new lawn toy. I'm so glad, he deserves it. Happy 30th Birthday Matthew! We love you so much!
