Happy Mother's Day to all of those wonderful mother's out there! Our job is so rewarding and I wouldn't change it for the world.
My mother's day morning started off with my favorite, homemade blueberry pancakes made by Matt and Alaina. They were delicious!
Then ALaina handed me a bag and told me Happy Mommy's Day. It just melted my heart. Matt got me this sweet card about the births of our girls and saying how good of a mother I was. It was so sweet and put tears in my eyes. Matt you're the best and I love you!
The girls got me a cute card as well and these two angels that have their birth stones on their necklaces and flowers. That was such a great idea. I loved them! As you can see, so did Alaina :) Matt said that he thinks she picked them our for herself ;)

My back was bothering me all last night, so I wanted to hold off for to see how I was feeling. After awhile I started feeling a lot better and we all got ready to go shopping.
First, we stopped at Matt's mom's work to give her gift and say Happy Mother's Day since she had to work. This poor lady works almost every holiday. Hopefully not for too much longer though. At least we put a smile on her face. That's all that matters.
I'm happy to say that I have at least half of the girls X-mas shopping done already! Shopping a few times before surgery and now today, I could say that we're done, but I know I will still pick some stuff up here and there along the way.
After shopping we went out to dinner to Chilis. We didn't even have to wait since we only had two adults in our party. They sat us down right away. Amazing!
Alaina had to go potty and was afraid to sit on the big potty without her Tinkerbell seat, so I put tp all over the seat and sat down behind her so she would go and yes she did go LMAO!
I didn't know what to do and I wasn't about to put a diaper on her and ruin everything we've taught her. I couldn't stop giggling thinking how confused someone would be if they saw us through the crack. :D
We had nothing but good things to say about all of our dinners. I'm glad I chose to go there, because we were going to to Texas Road House, but knew they'd be packed for Mother's day.
After dinner we stopped at Wal-mart to get a few things and finished the night cleaning the fish bowl and watching chick flicks :) It was such a wonderful Mother's day with Matt and the girls. I am one blessed mommy. Every day is mother's day in my eyes, because I get to be the mommy of my two beautiful loving, girls. I love you Alaina and Bella! xoxo
