Concert Friday

Nickelback 9/17/10

Last friday Matt and I went with our friends Jay and Jen to the Nickelback concert. We like Nickelback, but Matt and I were there more to see 3 Days Grace. We were running a bit late, but that ended up ruling in our favor.

There was also a Pirates game and Rascal Flatts concert going on in Pittsburgh, so I was praying for no traffic and that is what we got! I mean NO traffic. I think we got there in 15-20 minites. Then to top it off, when they scanned our tickets, we were told that our seats were relocated to a closer spot! How AWESOME is that! Our seats, the concert and the Consol Energy Center were all just AMAZING! :)

I told you Jen that everything would work out. :) It just amazes me how well things work out when you offer your worries to God. GOD IS GOOD!!!

Thankful Thursday

Gratitude creates it’s own attitude. It can give you a new perspective, a new focus. I am going to use this day as my opportunity to see those things. Please join me. Happy Thursday! :)

Today, I am thankful for my wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. They keep me smiling everyday. When people and things try to bring me down, all I need to do is look back at the greatest blessings God could ever give me, and just like that my frown turns upside down. :) I love you guys!

Wonders of Wildlife

Today was my first mommy group meetup. It was so nice to meet some of the other members and their adorable children. Alaina and Bella enjoyed seeing the animals the Pittsburgh Zoo brought and spending time with the other kids. It was a good show.

My Bella boo is so personable and goes to anyone. I'm not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing, but she wanted to introduce herself to everyone she saw. It was cute though :) They didn't seem to mind her big friendly smile.

I can't wait to go to my next meetup. Many of the mothers have the same age children I do, which is awesome! I think were going to a tea party next week at one of the mom's house. Alaina will just love that! Thanks to my sister-in-law Melissa for giving me the mommy group idea. You were right, I do love it already!
