Tea Party Monday

On Monday I took the girls to their first tea party. We went over to one of the moms place, I met through the mommy group I joined. I was a bit nervous at first, but quickly felt at ease. She has a lovely home with a ton of toys for the kiddos to play with. Plus, there's nothing warmer than walking into a place that smells of fresh baked cookies. Yummy!

All the girls were having so much fun that they didn't have much time for tea lol. We just let them play while we talked and enjoyed all the goodies Miranda made. She's a great cook. I can't wait to make mummy cupcakes next month :).

Thanks Miranda for opening up your home and allowing us to be a part of your tea party/play date. Alaina keeps asking when we're going to play with the girls, so we will have to do it again soon. Also, thanks Jen and Gretchen for being so welcoming. I look forward to having more meetups with you.:)

Almost Wordless Wednesday

Last Sunday(9/19/10) Alaina and I went out to breakfast and shopping for Bella's birthday, while Bella went with daddy to a car race in North Park. It was her first time in the Mustang. Then my dad came over with Ethan to visit. Nice Sunday.

Happy 1st Birthday John Preston!

On Saturday we went to a friend of ours sons 1st birthday party. It was a really nice party. His mom Maria even made all the decor and had the party catered.

Alaina was thrilled to see her friend Gillian. They get along so well. It's adorable to watch. Bella loved seeing all the kids there. She tried to keep up with them, but they were just too fast for her lil feet :). It won't be long baby girl.

John Preston looked so cute eating his smash cake and had a blast opening all of his gifts. He even got a Mercedes ride on toy! Wow! Happy 1st Birthday John Preston! Much love!
