On Tuesday my dad brought Ethan over for dinner. The girls were thrilled to see their pappy and cousin. He should grow a white beard, since he always comes bearing gifts haha.

Last week he promised Alaina a princess backpack, so that is what she got and Bella got a Zhu Zhu pet. They loved them. Alaina has been wearing her backpack since lol.

For dinner I made a crockpot chicken with swiss and bacon. We also had home fries, salad and stuffing. It was a great family dinner.

Retail Monday

On Monday we spent most of the day shopping. I got a bunch of supplies for Bella's first birthday party coming up.

I also got some more fall wear for the girls and decor for Alaina's room. I was so excited to find the cute mirror I wanted to get Alaina on sale for only $10 rather the $40 I almost paid for. I'm glad I waited now.

Alaina found this big cupcake bank for $10 too! Bella's b-day theme is cupcakes and bright colors ,so I couldn't say no to that. Yay for clearance! lol :)

"Happy Sunday"

Happy Sunday :)

On Sunday, we went to visit my bff Ashley and her husband Matt. They just bought a house and it was really nice, a great place to start a family ;) Can you tell that I'm anxious for her to have some kiddos herself :) Love you Ash!

Ashley made a delicious dinner, which included, crockpot chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, homemade bread and stuffing. We were all stuffed after that wonderful dinner. Oh and she made pepperoni dip for an appetizer lol!

If that wasn't enough, Ashley also made a giant cupcake for desert. Alaina loved it and wanted us to sing to her, so we sang, "Happy Sunday to you, Happy Sunday to you, Happy Sunday dear Bella and Alaina, Happy Sunday to you." ;)

We also got to meet Ashley's sister Candace's baby boy, Bentley. He's a cutie! Bella waved her hands back and forth in excitement when she saw him. It was adorable.

Then we just watched the game and relaxed the rest of the evening. A great Sunday if you ask me :) Thanks again for everything Ashley and Matt. <3

Corny Saturday :)

Last Saturday we went to a car show and a corn roast. Matt finally has his other baby on the road again, so we drove it up to his buddy's car show for a couple hours. It brought back some very fond memories, when Matt and I started dating.

Now, we will have many more with Alaina and Bella in the "Stang". They better learn how to drive a manual lol! I remember trying to learn on Matt's mustang and poor guy was sweating bullets haha.

After the car show, it was off to the corn roast. We met some wonderful people through my husband's aunt and uncle and boy do they know how to throw a party. You'd think they were in their 20's.:) They are the sweetest people and treat my girls as if they were their own.

The last corn roast I went to, Wilmer knew I was trying to get pregnant and he makes his own wine. Well, he told me that if I drank his wine, I'd get pregnant within the next few months!

After hearing that, I drank a glass of course and sure enough shortly after I found out I was pregnant! I steered clear from his wine this year though, no matter how many times he tried to give me some.;)

Then he tried telling me that I was sitting by the baby making fire haha! He cracks me up. :) The girls had so much fun playing and eating corn by the fire. It was a wonderful day for it too.
