Every year we go downtown with family and sometimes friends to listen to the bands, and watch the fireworks. This year was no different.
We met up with my dad, sister, nephew, sister-in-law and brother-in-law and sat where we always sit near the bands. The kids were having a great time dancing away and being silly per usual, and Phil Vassar sang again this year, which is always a plus.
It was a nice laid back 4th and the fireworks were awesome this year. I think they had two grand finales! Matt and I have this tradition where we give each other a kiss during the finale and this year I got two kisses. :) They definitely outdid themselves this year!
Other than the short rainfall it couldn't have gone smoother. Then again the rain helped us cool off a bit. I usually have pics of the fireworks, but didn't want to chance my camera getting wet.
Anyways, I hope everyone else had a wonderful 4th as well. Happy Birthday America! Next year we will get to celebrate it with another lil' patriotic princess. I can't wait!
