Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was very nice and laid back this year. We first went over to my Grandma Ross's house for dinner then to my Grandma Durci's house. It's so nice to have dinner cooked for you. It tastes so much better too. Thank you Grandma Ross and Grandma Durci for the delicious food. Love you!

Sadly, we don't get to see my side of the family much other than holidays, so I cherish these times with them. I hope to change that now that things are starting to be a little less hectic now. Plus, I want the girls to know how important family is, no matter how far they live. That is what I'm thankful for this year, for my wonderful family and the loved ones who have stuck by us through thick and thin. We love you guys!

My Aunt Debbie from NC came up also! It's always nice to see her. She reminds me so much of my mom and I get a good feeling when I'm around her. I so wish that my mom was here. She would have loved to see her grandchildren and shower them with love. She'd love Matt too. *Sighs* I know she's smiling down though and one day they will get to meet her, but I need her now. :/

Family just isn't the same anymore. It breaks my heart how some families are so quick to turn on eachother and those who don't have eachother's back. Blood is thicker than water and that shouldn't be forgotten. I will do my best to make sure that my girls are close and get along great. (And if we have anymore children, they too! :) I'm also going to do everything possible to keep positive influences in their lives and make sure that they know God. That's all a mother can do.

I can't help to still long for that mother daughter relationship that so many others have. I remember my mom's homecooking too. She loved to cook, especially this time of the year. The one year we made a bunch of cookies and she allowed me to put the cherries on the little cheesecakes. Haha! I don't have many memories, but the ones I do have will never leave me.  For now, I will continue cherishing the moments I have with my girls. They keep me going, that's for sure. I love them so much!

Anyways, after visiting with my family, I went and stood in the Toys R Us line at 8:30 pm LOL! Yes, I'm crazy. I actually enjoy it though. The past two years I've done this, I've meet some really nice people, which makes time go by so much quicker.

Matt said that he saw me on the channel 11 news haha. Maybe you saw me too! I got a lot of great deals and have most of my shopping done. Now it's the hubby I need to worry about. If only he'd give me a couple ideas rather than tell me that he don't want anything or tells me to donate it. :/ That's sweet and all, but that's not going to make my shopping any easier. Oh well! He's going to have gifts to open whether he likes it or not haha.

Well, I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and to my cousin Grant's family you're all in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask. Even if it's just to come over and watch the kids. I'll be there in flash. Much love!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!
